Information you provide
We process account information such as your name, username, and password credential; profile and body information; goals and preferences; workouts and completed sets; nutrition and food logs; movement, sleep, measurements, and check-ins; and support messages you send us.
Information created by Kinesis
Kinesis derives estimates and recommendations from your records, including training stimulus, recovery, readiness, progression, calorie and protein targets, body-composition trends, and suggested workouts. These are fitness guidance, not medical diagnosis.
How we use information
- provide and synchronize your account across devices;
- calculate training, recovery, nutrition, and body-composition guidance;
- maintain security, diagnose failures, and improve reliability;
- respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests;
- meet legal obligations and prevent abuse.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by infrastructure and platform providers only as needed to operate Kinesis, including hosting services and Google Play Services on Android. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users, Kinesis, or the public.
Storage and security
Account-linked data is stored on Kinesis servers so it can synchronize across devices. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network transport. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention
We keep account data while your account is active and as needed to provide Kinesis. After a verified deletion request, active account data is normally deleted within 30 days. Limited records may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes. Residual copies may remain in protected backups until routine replacement.
Your choices and rights
You can edit or delete many records within the app. Depending on where you live, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. To delete your account or request deletion of specific data, use the Kinesis deletion page.
Children
Kinesis is not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as Kinesis changes. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published.
